NOTE: Sometimes your web browser (Internet Explorer) will magically SHRINK the picture after you've downloaded it and make it very hard to read. You can DISABLE the shrinking, or "UNSHRINK" each picture, by following the instructions at the bottom of this page.

Disabling Shrinking Images
If you want to disable IE's resizing altogether, select the Tools > Internet Options menu item. This opens a big dialog box full of settings that you can tweak. Click the Advanced tab. This displays a very long list of settings that you can enable or disable by clicking a box next to each setting. Scroll down the list until you see the section labeled Multimedia. Under this section, one of the first items you see should be the "Enable automatic image resizing" check box. Click the check box to deselect this feature and click OK. That's it: no more shrinking images.
If you decide you want the resizing feature after all, just go back to this same menu option and reselect the option by clicking the check box. (thanks to ZDNet for the instructions)
If you want to disable the resizing for only a single image, simply move your mouse until it's over the image in question. Hold it still for a couple of seconds, and two toolbars will appear on opposite corners of the resized image. You can ignore the one in the upper left corner; it lets you save the image or send it to your printer. The one in the lower right corner is a single button; click that, and it restores the image to its normal size.
